baby bathtub?

help...i'm looking for a baby bathtub that my active 4 1/2 month old won't slide down in. i have the fisher price price aquarium bathtub, which was okay until she outgrew the hammock. now, she sits in the supported part of it but when she kicks her legs and splashes, her little butt slides out of the "dip" and she almost completely emerges herself in the water needless to say she hits her back on the plastic piece.

what worked great for me was the little bathtub seat....it's round, looks kinda like a booster seat and has suction cups on the bottom......i took those foam teddy bear shaped cushions for the tub and put one inside the seat so the baby wouldn't slip out but could play in the water sitting up.

When this happened to my son (he's 7 now), I put a towel in the seat with him. It helped keep him in place and also cushioned the back of the seat when he would lean back and bump into it.

I really wish I could help you but the truth is until theyre 6 months and can sit up I never did find the answer to this, so If you figure it out please let me know. I guess you could try one of those foam bears.

I just got a blow up tub from Kmart and she loves it!!! She can't sit up yet but the sides are low enough for her to lay on the side. She loves to kick around in there. Just tried it for the first time last night! I had the same problem with the infant tub and I feel much safer with her in the blow up tub. Walmart, kmart, and target all carry a different variety of blow up tubs. They fit right in your bath tub!
