When did your baby start enjoying toys?

My one is 4 months, just. It has been a few weeks that he grabs his rattle and other hanging toys and seems to have a bit of fun with them. Today, I went through the box of toys from my older son and pulled out a few new things, like the better ones that make lights and sounds when you press buttons and a xylophone. He just was amazed and couldn't keep his hands off them.

Between 3 and 4 months my son decided that toys were fun. He was absolutely fascinated by everything and anything that made noise...

Now at 11 months old, he loves to play with things that aren't really toys, like drawers, CDs, DVDs, hats, clothes and wipes.. The list goes on.

My son is 8 months old and has never really cared for his toys. He has TONS of toys and all kinds too... musical ones, bright ones, big ones small ones!!.... The only toy he REALLY likes is a V-Tech learning table and he likes to use it to pull up and bang on the buttons :-)
He really likes things that aren't toys a lot better.... ladles, bowls...
